MC is a character who seems cool because his motives are unknown but he plays it off that way because at one point he had motives but due to life circumstances, his motives have depleted and needs to find a new reason to care.

Now he still looks like he knows what hes doing and does in a way but also has given up but also keeps going and is full of determination, but also so many things to say.

Not only are his motive unknown but the way to describe him is unknown as well. and the anime. it seeps through the words.
