Son of a gun.

It starts with a firearm... someone buys off the deep-web. This firearm seems to have unlimted ammo as tested before. A child tired of being bullied and seeing others be bullied picks it up. And begins to have a shoot out in the schools. The police eventually get him, and the gun is picked up by another individual...

The police person who picked it up automatically begins shooting at his own squad and everyone dies. And now the man is on the prowl around the school. With the dropped weapons the kids have no choice but to pick then up and seek to kill the skilled officer with the gun. They split into teams to find how to do so and never had used a gun before and limited ammo they must plan good. Eventually they kill the man but of course with few left standing in the school as the cycle continues when one friend grabs the gun and kills their friends basically having to go for the city and kill all that are there as well. In time a detective finds that as soon as they touch the gun they become hungry with urge to kill. As if the gun has a motivate of its own. What could it be...
