Prisoner that has to be watched for suicide is constantly in monitoring. The situation has gotten so bad that they transfer him from the green turtle suit to a white strap suit they use in asylums even creating a special room for him. His sentencing is over but they keep him now for his safety. Until he one day demonstrates to a psychologist that he is fit to leave the facility.

When done he was given a starter kit to begin his life on the outside for the time not that he served for his crimes but for the time held for being on watch for case of forced safety. He is given clothes (also allowed to keep his asylum gear as a momento.)

He is given a check for disability to live decently each month but not lavishly. Lastly he is given a watch.

This watch he finds has a good reflection and can see his face in it. He witnesses the reflection in his eye a time in the mirror. As if time has ended yet goes on for him.

This watch eventually become a bane to all who come across him. It begins to cause people to kill themselves in the way they would worst seek. For some it would be in the mercy of what the watch suggest but the prisoner is furious about being put behind bars for an act God had commanded him to do.

The crime is never said but there are speculations.

The watch though plain, looking like any ordinary watch starts reflecting images into the freeman's retinas. Perhaps a cherub, perhaps an evil smile, perhaps a guitar, perhaps something more abstract or obscure, unorthodox even. With this he knows to go to certain areas of who he is to incite to death. He cares not for the love of others, nor does he care for love for himself. All he cares about is hating so perfectly that the God he serves will grant him serenity at the end of his life once he has killed everyone and he is the last person to kill on his own watch.

"You like mickey mouse?"

"Uh, sure. I used to watch cartoons as a kid."

"Here, take this watch."

The good guy always wins.
