Necromancy is forbidden for elves to use yet our MC uses it as a paladin. Secretly though seeming alive, the elf is undead. We can notice this if he takes off his armor and we can see his flesh rotting and bones showing. He wants to show that evil magic were not always inherently evil but were made evil... one day he will rot away but til then he will continue to seek healing though some who would be healed by him would consider it an abomination if ever knowing he was not a paladin.
