They are looking for their last [Joker Card] and though many seem a good fit no one is. One person who wasn't chosen to be on a team and hung out in the back of the room decides to go partnerless. In this he is seen as an incomplete set and must prove himself, though nothing to prove to himself because people don't understand the idea that each set is incomplete except him and his chosen her.
