When lit, it showed that there was not a single cherub on the field of battle. Only the monsters. And the monsters, they saw what they wanted to see as if it were cherubs they were killing. The cherub after finding God visiting them to wipe the tear off one of them for wanting to give up the fight for case of being there so long, finds that "I think I know how to win." The idea is to make the monsters cry in acknowledgement of themselves and their evils. Then to wipe the tears off their face to show God notices their dark and wants healing.

They see heaven and it is light but all sin is done in a matter where it is not hidden but still all evil as an impure version of all that happens in the light but isn't called out because of God. To where comes in darkness to take down heaven in sense of those doing evil in daylight in sense of without knowing it is a sin to do evils to cherubs. So they must be dragged down to learn not to rape cherubs.

And those in hell who were wrongfully judged seeking to cross the gates.

There are cherubs also that seek for evil to do that make deals with devils that are cast out or dragged out... the cherubs were not created to be evil, but fell to evil due to the influence of being as a child.
